Description | Ducati develop needs to enforce our existing unit with the purpose to implement a SAP S/4 HANA environment with the purpose to build, learn, and take new applications aspect to our internal users and fill needs in our current product offerings with the new S/4HANA on Cloud offerings.

The SAP System engineer provides both operation management and advisory recommendations on architecture, installation and support of SAP landscapes, supports ongoing project activities and delivers innovative solutions that will increase our operational agility and enable our continued growth. Expertise in deploying and operating the latest SAP technology, including but not limited to SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP S/4, SLT is nice to have.
Expectations and Tasks
› 7+ years of building and maintaining high volume data solutions, ensuring high standards for uptime and system performance
› Shape the data engineering and product roadmaps by driving data architecture discussions and planning with cross-functional teams
› Understand end to end business drivers for customers to be in cloud and translating into technical requirements
› Deep understanding of systems and database management (DB2,Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL, HANA)
› Manage team objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, and risks for your organization, measuring effectiveness through KPI’s and metric data
› Implement effective database engineering policies and processes and that deliver quality and ensure precision
› Drive innovation to optimize, automate and standardize the operational delivery processes
› Experience with Enterprise application integration tools and technologies such as MuleSoft and XI/PO
› SAP System Administration or SAP HANA Certification is a required
Preferred Qualifications
› Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field
› Experience deploying and operating services in a distributed, web-scale environment
› Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote)
› Built and managed infrastructure-as-a-service
› Delivered automated database provisioning solutions
› Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes
› Analyze and implement SAP support methodology
› Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Italian and English
› Ability to establish solid working relationships with internal business partners and excellent command on de-escalating the critical situations
› Experience in Technical Architecture/Implementation/Change Management
› Comprehensive knowledge on S/4HANA architectures and S/4HANA related migration paths and tools
› Practical experience with at least one Cloud public provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). eg. Solid understanding as well as experience in SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, SAP Cloud Connector, SSO and integration technologies.
› Have understanding and experience with virtualization technologies - experience using a variety of hypervisors and have experience building on the cloud
